therefore created a closing system based on a magnet encased in the wall jamb which closely resembles the spring latch contained in the block handle. A very simple and elementary principle transformed into a highly innovative design.

Plana is a door with innovative aesthetical features: a perfectly linear surface, from the very fine aluminum profile to the internal panel, available in glossy lacquered glass or wood. The big range of finishes available and the possibility to reach the height of 260cm allow Plana to be adapted to every architectural situation. Plana is available also in slim version, characterized by the jamb’s width reduced to the minimum.

The possibility of producing evolved interior designs depends on the versatility of the components. For this reason Plana allows for custom made items. The Plana design is able to incorporate two different aesthetic concepts – a glass door and, alternatively, a timber door. In both cases the extent of the pure surfaces and rigorous design valorise the characteristics of each material to the full.

This is because it is located in the center of the jamb and the hinges are located on the bottom and top of the door. The jamb is built into the wall, thereby becoming invisible. Vela, with pivot opening, comes in two versions: with a patented magnetic closing profile and magnetic lock. Two innovative solutions that take full advantage of a basic physical principle, doing away with the need for mechanisms and always guaranteeing light, silent movements. Exclusive locks and handles, integral parts of a design that reflects Rimadesio’s constant wish to propose new solutions for internal doors.

Aura, a new step in Rimadesio’s path of design for internal doors. The idea of a surface of lacquered glass with a thin aluminum frame that fuses into the walls in an increasing easure. It has a thin aluminum surround. Aura is perfectly two-sided, equipped with a two-way opening and a patented magnetic closing system that cannot be seen and that does ot require an ordinary lock. The exclusive patented die-cast handle is characterized by its lacquered glass insert in the same color as the doors.

Research design that aims increasingly towards integrating, as far as possible, design solutions and architectural spaces: complete aesthetic essentialism and the possibility of made-to-measure fittings render Aura capable of heightening the stylistic quality of settings.

The Aura swing door equipped with magnetic lock includes the exclusively-designed handle, available in the version with a locking pawl or with key. All the Aura door handles are a patented exclusive design.They all have an opaque satin finish. The Aura swing version with magnetic lock comes with two aesthetically different handles that are fitted onto the same locking block. Both versions are equipped with the locking pawl or a key.

The Aura sliding door is as versatile in size as the swing model, with two made to measure doors. Rimadesio’s technological research has made it possible to design a door that slides all the way back into the counter frame thereby guaranteeing maximum aesthetic quality in all fittings.

The Aura door’s design is special because it can be used to have extremely big doors, nonetheless guaranteeing maximum stability and precision in movement. The made to measure swing door is available in two versions, reaching a maximum possible height of 2600 mm and a maximum possible width of 1200 mm. In the latter case the rotation pin is placed 150 mm inside the door so as to ensure greater stability and linear movements.
