In occasion of Milan Design Week 2009 Marco Gorini, world famous designer, enriches Strato’s collection with the introduction of STRATO 015, hard to resist to the charm of this kitchen, inimitable in style. STRATO 015 is a new piece of work standing out for the attention to details and for the choice of precious materials, those have always been characterizing the brand, icon of Made in Italy . The achievement of this extraordinary piece, a sober and elegant creation marked by a refined game of lights where glassy and opaque surfaces are alternated in balance and harmony, was permitted by experienced craftsmanship together with technical know-how, carefully preserved in the factory, in Talamona. Marco Gorini has conceived Strato 015 keeping to a logic of modules and to a mainly horizontal development to guarantee absolute comfort and to satisfy the needs of those who adore living the contemporary kitchen environment with style and personality. STRATO 015 is composed of two operative areas and a turning 360 degrees island offering the greatest freedom in use and excellent flexibility. The satin finished stainless steel worktop is a wide operative area containing two washing basins; underneath the deep and ample drawers are made in black stratocolor, a superior quality laminate whom Marco Gorini immediately understood resistance and practicalness; over the top a sliding in horizontal sense with an easy folding opening system wall unit. The worktop is contiguous to a satin finished stainless steel structure containing two columns incorporating the fridge and useful shelves. STRATO 015’s cooking area is in the second worktop whose deep drawers are hanging, thus enhancing a sense of lightness and matching the geometric character of the other elements. The wall covering is a mirror, aimed at letting light into the domestic environment throughout a considered contrast between opacity and transparence , and to support the vanity of the kitchen user. Oven and dishwasher are easily accessible through a special satin finishes stainless steel “big el” shaped sliding door, this one-block steel also incorporates the hood. The black stratocolor island rotates 360 degrees and it is “big el” shaped: shelves are in the base and can be reached through elegant extra mirror steel sliding doors; the top is made of two materials whose unification point is silky at the touch, this smoothness is typical of Strato’s junction between different materials and it is achieved thanks to manual finishing, in this case we have black B1 stratocolor for the overhang to be used as a table, and absolute black diorite, very resistant material with which the island offers further room for preparing and laying food. STRATO 015, extraordinarily beautiful, is 100% chic design.
