By means of the EL programme signed By ludovica + Roberto Palomba, Elmar has created a collection that makes it possible to interpret the requirements of contemporary society, with its different speeds of life, in which the kitchen is experienced as a meeting place of experiences and emotions.

Elmar has studied the space that used to condition us and that now demands the possibility of being interpreted with character in a new and open way, to become, as the need arises, a big square, an intimate space or a place simply meant to host our gestures and the hours of our daily life.

Thanks to EL, the kitchen becomes a very urban, deconstructed place with an international design, in which furniture has storage and aesthetic functions, but is – above all – the location of objects that are enriched by the personality and history or those that use it.

Elmar has created kitchen furniture that can be chosen in freedom and that is capable of giving a style to the entire home, communicating the personality of those who live in it. Furniture in which the connecting objects, all objects, become spaces and protagonists of many functions. with a freedom and flexibility that find a splendid interpretation in the shelves thanks to their capacity of exhibiting, containing, offering and serving.

Elmar has expressed their love for nature by offering wood that is interpreted organically, without defining it geometrically but borrowing the building patterns used by nature. Elmar has worked steel in a completely new way, leaving behind traditional conceptual rules and creating projecting volumes that combine the elegant lightness of the profiles with the strength of the thick iroko wood tops.

By means of the EL programme Elmar has made a project that is open to contaminations, that refuses aprioristic rules, that is capable of reinterpreting daily life using conceptual and personal languages: a project that knows how to make people look at it through a child’s eyes, the eyes of those desirous of discovering where the spark of marvel ignites.”
