Cube

modern sideboard cabinet system

Basic product description

If you were asked what kind of life you lead — what would your answer be? Is your life noisy, exciting and colorful? Is it quiet, reserved and peaceful? Or is it a mixture of both? Maybe your life is altogether different, but the fact is you’re the one in charge of it. And this is just the way our cube cabinet system works too: you decide what it will look like. You decide how many elements it will have. You decide which function it should meet. So — what kind of life do you lead?

A classic sideboard usually stands in the dining room, has drawers and four doors. So there it is against the wall being used for storing china. Now if this sideboard is a cube sideboard, then it will still have drawers and four doors. And it’ll still be standing in the dining room. And it’ll still be used for the china. With one marked difference: it’ll be a pleasure to use.

Most people would probably put a cabinet in the hall, and stand it against the wall. Fine if you like. But use cube as a room divider and it’s obvious that this needn’t be the case at all. Placed in the centre of the room cube suddenly opens up a whole different perspective. There’s no more in front of and behind. But there’ll definitely be curious looks and questions next time you have people over.

A square is made up of four equal sides. Cube shows how great this simple shape can look in the version illustrated here. If you love that special something: there is an LED lamp below the top closing panel that will put your version of cube in perspective.

Lots of our cube fans ask one question when they start planning: Why leave something as it is when it can be different? For instance: Why does a cabinet have feet if it can be mounted on the wall too? With almost all cube models this is possible. There are matching shelves that are attached to the wall with concealed fixtures.

Assuming you arrive home after a hard day. You take off your jacket, get yourself something to drink, make yourself comfortable in the living room. Isn’t it a good thing if not only you but your eyes can relax too? cube’s generous wall panels don’t mind helping. Enjoy your evening!

If at times you can’t tell the front from the back, that may be due to cube. When used as a room divider the front looks just like the back, the back looks like the front, the drawers open in all directions. And jaws drop too – the effect has amazed everyone so far

Yes, even what you see here is cube as well. As a lowboard it looks more like an object, not like a piece of furniture. But although it’s so low: its functions are still outstanding, since here too you can choose between drawers and flaps.
