Strato
STRATO was founded in 1987 by Marco Gorini in order to create kitchens for an elite clientèle with a taste for the simple yet refined, and an appreciation for the unique and original nature of each collection. The first Strato kitchens were presented in 1990 at Milan’s Salone del Mobile and soon won international fame thanks to their quality, contemporary flair and unusual materials. Marco Gorini was born into a family of furniture specialists and inherited their culture of “good craftsmanship”, which can still be seen in every Strato product. High standards, attention to detail, careful selection of sought-after and innovative materials, and a highly-qualified work force are the key elements which go into the making of every single one of the unique and inimitable kitchens to which Marco Gorini has put his name. Manufactured in the company’s Talamona plant in the Province of Sondrio, which has an output of about three hundred units a year, Strato kitchens are the expression of a cutting edge philosophy which has made this company a byword for taste on the international kitchens scene. The use of high-tech machinery and up-to-date manufacturing techniques, with carefully handed-down craftsmanship, have made Strato an emblem of “Made in Italy” luxury goods, a symbol of excellence and technical perfection.
