High technology, formal simplicity, pure and essential lines are the main features of Artematica kitchen. The high quality level derives from the technical innovation used to create the first single-block door in dematerialized layered laminate. It is made from an aluminum structural frame to which various types of panels in different materials are applied: HPL layered in many different colors, wood-laminate layered laminate, lacquered MDF, glass. This system makes the door very resistant to humidity, heat and impacts, reduces its weight so that the hinges last longer, makes it easier to shut, easier to recycle and has a smaller impact on the environment (less materials and energy consumption). The great versatility of the new Artematica models makes it possible to create a personalized kitchen that can satisfy any aesthetic taste, reflecting different life-styles and personalities.
One of the latest results of Valcucine’s research is the wooden panel with a layered laminate support that gives the door better resistance and sturdiness features than traditional wooden doors. For the new wooden models, Valcucine has perfected a varnishing system based on natural oils and waxes that has made it possible to eliminate the toxic emissions of traditional varnishes. The wooden surfaces treated in this way have a pleasant feel and smell. In Artematica Cerasus, cherry wood is inlaid by hand with objects that are not influenced by passing fads: slender horizontal lines in aluminum or wood, geometric shapes such as the square or the circle, or ancient signs and symbols that never go out of fashion because they are part of the memory of Man and the history of many cultures.
