Aura, a new step in Rimadesio’s path of design for internal doors. The idea of a surface of lacquered glass with a thin aluminum frame that fuses into the walls in an increasing easure. It has a thin aluminum surround. Aura is perfectly two-sided, equipped with a two-way opening and a patented magnetic closing system that cannot be seen and that does ot require an ordinary lock. The exclusive patented die-cast handle is characterized by its lacquered glass insert in the same color as the doors.

Research design that aims increasingly towards integrating, as far as possible, design solutions and architectural spaces: complete aesthetic essentialism and the possibility of made-to-measure fittings render Aura capable of heightening the stylistic quality of settings.

The setting highlights the aesthetic quality of the Aura design. The jamb, which is encased in the wall, becomes invisible: the door is seen as a single glass surface, perfectly integrated into the wall. Shown here: aluminium frame and milky-white lacquered glass.

The Aura swing door equipped with magnetic lock includes the exclusively-designed handle, available in the version with a locking pawl or with key. All the Aura door handles are a patented exclusive design.They all have an opaque satin finish. The Aura swing version with magnetic lock comes with two aesthetically different handles that are fitted onto the same locking block. Both versions are equipped with the locking pawl or a key.

The Aura sliding door is as versatile in size as the swing model, with two made to measure doors. Rimadesio’s technological research has made it possible to design a door that slides all the way back into the counter frame thereby guaranteeing maximum aesthetic quality in all fittings.

The Aura door’s design is special because it can be used to have extremely big doors, nonetheless guaranteeing maximum stability and precision in movement. The made to measure swing door is available in two versions, reaching a maximum possible height of 2600 mm and a maximum possible width of 1200 mm. In the latter case the rotation pin is placed 150 mm inside the door so as to ensure greater stability and linear movements.
